Privacy policy

How Lean Dose handles your information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Lean Dose collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our websites or use our services.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the services, we may collect:

  • Identifiers and contact details, including name, email, phone number, mailing address, and date of birth.
  • Health and intake information, including medical history, medications, goals, questionnaire responses, and communications with the care team.
  • Identity and eligibility information used to confirm who you are, where you are located, and whether services may be provided.
  • Payment and transaction information handled by payment processors; Lean Dose does not store full card numbers.
  • Device, cookie, and usage information, including IP address, browser type, referral source, and pages viewed.
  • Support communications you send by form, email, text, or telephone.

How we use information

  • Provide, coordinate, and support requested services.
  • Verify identity, eligibility, location, and consent.
  • Support clinician evaluation, prescribing decisions, pharmacy fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Process authorizations, payments, cancellations, refunds, and customer support.
  • Send service communications and optional marketing communications where permitted.
  • Protect security, prevent fraud, comply with law, and improve the service using aggregated or deidentified information.

How we share information

We may share information as needed with independent licensed clinicians and medical organizations, licensed pharmacies, payment and identity-verification providers, shipping and technology vendors, support vendors, and authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. Appropriate contractual protections are used where required.

Lean Dose does not use identifiable health information for third-party advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.

Health information and HIPAA

HIPAA applies to covered health care providers, health plans, and their business associates—not automatically to every website operator. Health information handled by a covered provider or its business associate is subject to that provider's HIPAA privacy notice and applicable law. You may request the relevant notice from your care team.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the site, remember preferences, measure performance, understand visits, and attribute advertising. Our tracking configuration is designed not to send questionnaire answers or identifiable health details to advertising platforms. Browser controls may limit cookies, but disabling them can affect site functionality.

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. Information is retained as needed to provide services, satisfy legal and medical-record obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information and to appeal certain request decisions. You may opt out of marketing email or text at any time. To submit a request, contact info@leandose.co. We may verify your identity before responding.

Children

The services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information so it can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.

Policy changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the current version with its effective date. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to info@leandose.co or (832) 900-4410.
